It was so important to me to wear my mothers dress, but everywhere I called told me they didn't think it could be done. My mom was between an 8 & 9 sz. I was a 14-16. Geneva assured me with our first phone call & after our first meeting, I never waorried about the dress again. My mom had more picky & elegant taste, where I am much more simple. she made my dreams come true. She simplified the top to my taste & kept my mom's elegance on the bottom. So if your unsure, she is the way to go.

This gown was too tight on her so at her request I removed the zipper, gave her a tie back corset look and cut off the trane and made it look like a "cinderella" ball gown.

I bought a dress (size 14) "as-is" and it was way too big for me. I was pregnant at the time and needed to wait 3 weeks before the wedding in order to get it proper fit. I found Geneva on google, approached her and asked her if it could be done. She said no problem and it was done within a week. I came back for the final fitting and the dress fit perfectly. Geneva was the sweetest lady and was a life-saver. Her prices are super reasonable as well. Everything was done. Which was perfect for my budget. Loved the experience and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

I came to Geneva a week before my brother's wedding, slightly freaked out since I couldn't find anyone to do my dress. Geneva was able to hem my dress & make it look perfect for a very reasonable price. Not only that, she bustled my own wedding dress and made it look absolutely adoreable. geneva took up 5 inches off my dress! the dress had extensive beading, and I was very nervous about leaving it to anyone. After I spoke with Geneva, she sounded confident and knew exactly what I wanted. More importantly she worked with my time and budget when the dress was completed, I couldn't be happier. Dress ordered online & once I received it the zipper was broken & the collar had no clasp & was missing about 2-3 " of fabric. Geneva took out the zipper, added a corset. fixed the collar, hemmed & added a french bustle. Now my dress is beautiful & I can't wait to show it off at my wedding. Thank You!!...Holly

This gown needed the hem taken up on the bottom because it was too long for her. She also wanted a strap put on with flowers and feathers on the strap. Very nice. Testimony to follow soon.

Geneva was a true treasure to work with. I had just had a bad experience with a prior seamstress and I was very unhappy about my dress fit. I found Geneva's information on the internet and thank God I did. Just one week before my wedding she happily agreed to do all my last minute alterations and even gave me a fair rate and she had my dress ready within 78 hours of dropping if off. After a terrible experience with David's Bridal I got my big dress that the lady though it fit. Of course I felt like it was horrible. I searched and searched and came accross Geneva's website, even though I read the testimonies I wasn't too sure. I thought I would take a risk and bring it in. Geneva was so flexible w.my schedule. I got fitted and it took her 2 days to fix my dress. After I came to pick it up, I tried again and did have it until I was completely satisfied. I am really happy w/ the outcome and the way the dress fits. I will reccomend her to everyone I know. Thank Geneva!

My Mom found Geneva on craigslist and I was skeptical at first. It made me nervous not going to the place where I bought my dress from. So when we came to her to meet for the first time, she was so nice & made sure I was very happy with the alterations she was doing. Which included a sweetheart top, bustle & hem. She was very fast, affordable & efficient. I couldn't be happier with my dress and it will make my special day perfect!! Her service was fantastic, I will definitely be using her whenever I need alterations and referring her to anyone I know that needs alterations too.

Geneva is absolutely amazing! My bridesmaids dress was made in China & was about two sizes to small for me. I was at a loss thinking there was no way I would fit in this dress. Geneva truly was an answer to prayer. She took out the back zipper & created a gorgeous Corset in its place. The dress is now comfortable & is so much prettier than before. Geneva put her gifted hands on it, She is a wonderful person to be around & to take charge of your special creations to be made just for you.

I found Geneva as a referral from a client. ONce I saw her site, I was impressed of the work she had online. I brought her a bridesmaid dress that had been cut and looked like a bell on me.
